Why don’t you devise your own way to deal with Mary being so drunk she cannot walk to her room?

I devised my own way to deal with Mary being so drunk she cannot walk to her room. My devised plan would be that, I would have left Mary on the steps drunk and then went and told Ms. Peggy. Then she wouldn’t have died. My defense would have been that “I am the driver so I drove her where she asked me", "why should I refuse"? "I didn’t know that she would go and get drunk"! This is my devised way to deal with Mary being so drunk she cannot walk to her room.
